How can i get really tan in less than one day?

i'm going to an amusement park Wednesday, and i have my promotion Thursday, and i want to have a nice tan. i have strapless bathing suit so i don't need to worry about tan lines, i just want to know how to get a good tan, like how long should i stay out? should i put something on? should i stay in one spot for awhile? i don't want hate replies, i just want some help. please?<3
